scrambled eggs
Rich and buttery scrambled eggs on crunchy wholemeal toast take on a whole new dimension with a subtle buzz of TABASCO® Brand Green Pepper Sauce.
Serves: 2
1 tbsp water
4 fresh free range eggs
salt and freshly ground black pepper
25g/1oz butter
a splash of TABASCO® Brand Green Pepper Sauce
Method:
1. The secret of perfect scrambled eggs is to remember that they go on cooking after the pan has been removed from the heat - so do this while the eggs are still quite runny.
2. Add water to eggs and beat lightly with a fork. Season well with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
3. Melt butter in a pan over low heat. Pour in eggs, and patiently stir till the curds are forming. While still runny, remove pan from heat, then quickly spoon onto hot toast. Finish with a splash of TABASCO® Sauce and serve immediately.
